Description
Paul is one of our Peer Support Practitioners. He is an adult on the autism spectrum who was diagnosed at the age of 24.
Alexithymia is a term used to describe a difficulty identifying, describing and expressing emotions in oneself and others. It has an 80 % crossover with autism although not many people or professionals have heard of Alexithymia and it can often be overlooked in someone’s care and can impact on relationships and friendships with others.
Paul will be talking about Alexithymia and using his own personal experiences to share the challenges that can go along with it and what things can be put in place to help.
This webinar is aimed at anyone interested in learning about Alexithymia and developing helpful strategies to support or self-introduce.
Once purchased it will be available to watch for 14 days and have the ability to download and watch the webinar 5 times
