Hello! My name is Victoria, but most people call me Vicky – I answer to both! I am a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner here at Autism Oxford UK.
I have worked with neurodivergent people in a range of settings, including research, academic and clinical (both NHS and private). I completed a PhD at King’s College London looking at autistic women and girls experience of diagnosis and support and continue to carry out autism research in my current doctoral training. I am very passionate about co-producing research with people with lived experience and ensuring research aligns with community priorities.
I consider it a privilege to be part of someone’s diagnostic journey, and prioritise creating a compassionate, accessible and collaborative experience.
Outside of my role at Autism Oxford UK, I am a Trainee Clinical Psychologist. Due to this, if we work together, it will likely be in the evenings or on the weekend.
When I’m not working, I am likely watching a cooking show on TV, or playing board/card games with my friends.
