Tara Burt

I am a Specialist Occupational Therapist and Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner (Level 4). I qualified in 2018 and I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I have experience working in the NHS as well as mainstream, residential and specialist schools and in client’s homes.

I understand that every individual is unique, and different things are important to different people. I therefore am driven to ensure my therapy is always person-centred and individualised. I love learning from people I work with, and I feel lucky that every day is so fun and varied.

Things I can support with include sensory and emotional regulation, life skills such as dressing and feeding, engagement with learning, play and / or employment, as well as strength and motor skills. I can complete sensory and dyspraxia assessments, 1:1 therapy work and parent and teacher coaching.
