Hi – my name is Siân, and I work with Autism Oxford UK as a Peer Support Practitioner.
My career has been in education, as a teacher and senior leader. I have a passion for supporting pupils in a range of educational settings to thrive and achieve, particularly neurodivergent children with complex learning needs.
I enjoy using my knowledge to support others to learn about autism and have led training at a wide range of events, taking every chance to increase understanding, acceptance and awareness of the positives of neurodivergence. I have a Master’s in Autism in Children from the University of Birmingham.
I am married with two adult children, one of whom has autism and ADHD.
