Hello, my name is Rachel.
I’m a Speech and Language Therapist. I qualified in 2003 and I’m registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I have worked for the NHS, within CAMHS and for a local authority, supporting autistic children and their families in their homes, preschools and schools. I have also worked in a residential special school with children who have experienced early years trauma.
I feel lucky to do such an interesting and varied job. Communication comes in many different forms and all ways are important and valid.
I love to hear about new ideas or different perspectives. I know that I’ll never stop learning and evolving as a therapist.
A little bit about me: I’m a mum. My family is neurodiverse.
I love podcasts and I’m always up for recommendations of something interesting to listen to.
