Nicky Higgins

Hello, My name is Nicky and I work as a Neurodevelopmental Specialist Nurse at Autism Oxford UK Limited. I have developed a keen interest in the autistic PDA profile and specialist in assessments of this profile and ongoing support. I also co lead our perinatal offering alongside one of our peer support practitioners. In my previous roles I have also been the nursing lead for epilepsy.

About me:

• I am married with 3 young children, who keep me very busy.
• I am a qualified Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)
• I have achieved a Duke of Edinburgh award and Queen Scout award.

What I Like To Do:

• Walking, I enjoy taking the children and dog out on nice walks
• When I get the time, I enjoy a variety of crafts, including candle and bath bomb making.
• Meeting up with friends

What is Important to Me:

• I am passionate about working with autistic individuals and people with a learning disability to achieve all their goals.
