Specialist Occupational Therapist
Natali is a dedicated and enthusiastic Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a strong academic and professional background in Cognitive Psychology and Occupational Therapy. She obtained her BSc in Cognitive Psychology from the University of East Anglia, where her studies sparked a deep interest in the cognitive and emotional development of children. Following her degree, she worked as a research assistant, contributing to research in Developmental Psychology and Occupational Therapy. During this time, she gained invaluable experience in data collection and analysis, working with both children and dementia patients, which helped her develop a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
Natali went on to complete an MSc in Occupational Therapy at Brunel University, further refining her expertise in supporting individuals with diverse needs. She specialises in working with children and young people with autism, trauma, and learning disabilities, demonstrating proficiency in conducting clinical assessments, monitoring intervention outcomes, and tailoring support plans to the unique needs of her clients. Passionate about fostering strong relationships, she prioritises building trust with children and their families and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, individualised care.
In addition, Natali is experienced in conducting both ADOS and ADI-R assessments for adults and children, drawing on her work within the NHS. This expertise enables her to contribute significantly to autism diagnoses, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. She is also trained in Sensory Integration, further enhancing her ability to support children with sensory processing difficulties.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development, Natali holds additional certifications in LEGO Therapy and Therapeutic Listening. Fluent in English, Greek, and Romanian, she brings cultural awareness, empathy, and a holistic approach to her work, striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals she supports.
