Hi, I’m Katie, I am autistic and ADHD, and my role is to help guide individuals and/or their parents through the assessment process. I didn’t receive my diagnosis until my 30’s, so understand what it’s like to navigate late diagnosis. I also have two neurodivergent children who I’ve gone through the whole process with as a parent.
My career spans 17 years and although I’ve always worked in very people-centred roles, my background is primarily in the education sector; most notably within the SEN and safeguarding realms.
I care deeply about the diagnostic process and my goal is for everyone to have a positive experience. I am particularly interested in AuDHD in woman and girls, PDA (demand avoidance), PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria), and masking.
I love music and really believe music is therapeutic. I also love baking, spending quality time with my loved ones, eating good food and having a laugh!
