I am a dedicated Neurodevelopmental Assessor Practitioner at Autism Oxford UK, with extensive experience in supporting children, adults, and families. As a qualified Autism and Dyslexia Assessor (ADOS-2, ADI-R and SpLD Level 7), I bring a holistic understanding of Neurodivergence.
Having worked within the education sector for over 30 years (as a teacher and SENCO), I also have a deep appreciation for the challenges experienced by individuals who struggle within typical educational settings.
I approach individuals with kindness and curiosity, rather than through the lens of assumption or bias, respectfully acknowledging the challenges, and validating the enormous efforts of paddling hard under water.
I am passionate about identifying individual strengths and providing practical strategies to minimise stressors, supporting children to access and thrive in all environments, enjoying a sense of belonging.
I enjoy working at Autism Oxford UK within a neuroaffirming, multidisciplinary team, providing support to children, young people and adults.
