Jo Marsden

Hi, my name is Jo and I am a Special Educational Needs consultant at Autism Oxford UK.

I have worked in education for 23 years, originally as a Primary school teacher and most recently as an Assistant Head Teacher, SENDCo and Inclusion Lead.
I have worked hard to ensure inclusive environments are a focus for schools.

My passion has always been to help children and young people access education ensuring they feel supported and cared for in their journey through education. Supporting families of children with SEND has been a huge part of my career and I am passionate about helping all children to thrive and be successful.

When I am not working I spend time with my husband and two teenage girls, exercising in the gym and walking in the Surrey hills.
