I have an honours degree in Psychology (BSc), and Masters in Developmental Disorders (now called Neurodevelopmental) (MSc), I hold a PRINCE 2 Practitioner project management qualification and I have trained as a Life Coach and Neuro Linguistic Practitioner.
My job title at Autism Oxford UK is Head of Governance and Strategic Development, which is a bit of a mouth full, but it really means that my role is to ensure we have all the systems and processes in place to ensure all of our staff and all of our clients are able to access a caring, safe, effective, responsive and well-led service and that we continue to strive to deliver a gold standard service.
I am motivated to improve equality, inclusion and acceptance and to enable every person to identify and celebrate their strengths and achieve their unique potential.
A little bit about me: I am mum to an amazing daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going for walks, running, reading, travelling and home improvements. I have completed 4 half marathons and my goal is to run a marathon one day!
