Hi, my name is Jess! I’m a Neurodevelopmental Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, carrying out autism assessments at Autism Oxford UK.
Prior to assessing and diagnosing autism, which I currently also do in the NHS, I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in a special school for autistic children and young people. Before qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist, I worked for a local charity supporting autistic children and adults and also individuals with ADHD, Down Syndrome, developmental delays, epilepsy and more. I’ve always been passionate about helping and supporting others and I strive to keep up to date and be as neuroaffirmative and inclusive as possible.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love animals and going to zoos! My favourite animal is an armadillo, I share a beautiful Shire horse and at home I have a pacman frog and a bearded dragon!
