I am a Specialist Occupational Therapist and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I qualified from Oxford Brookes University in 2014 and have worked in a variety of community settings in Oxfordshire and Manchester.
I have worked as an Occupational Therapist in the NHS and private sector. I have worked with autistic adults and young people, adults with intellectual disabilities and older adults with mental health conditions.
At Autism Oxford UK, I mainly work on the assessment line and complete appointments online as I live in Manchester. I assess autistic individuals who have a range of needs including; mental health conditions, sensory processing differences and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as specific autistic profiles such as Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and female presentation.
I have completed the following additional training:
• Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R).
• Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).
• Autism Clinical Interview for Adults (ACIA).
• Assessment of Motor and Processing Skills (AMPS) qualification.
• Trusted Assessor Level 3 course with Disabled Living.
• “Introduction to Sensory Integration Difficulties” course with the Sensory Integration (SI) network.
