I work at Autism Oxford UK as a Neurodevelopmental Specialist Assessor.
I am fortunate to have worked with autistic children and young people and their families for the majority of my career. I am a qualified teacher and also have a Master of Education; Psychology and Education. I have worked in both mainstream and special schools supporting autistic children. I am passionate about Early Years education and intervention for children and younger people. I am also passionate about the role of academic research in developing ways to support autistic people and their families.
I also lecture at Bournemouth University and has presented at the National Learning Network and other conferences. I have also contributed to different publications throughout my career
When I’m not working, I have two young boys who keep me very busy! I have a dog called Rosie who gets up to lots of mischief. I love spending time with my friends and we often go for walks or talk about books that we have read.
