Hi, I’m Alice, a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist by background, currently working for Autism Oxford UK as a Neurodevelopmental Specialist Assessor.
I have been supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families for over 12 years and have been conducting assessments for 6 years. My professional journey has included roles in the NHS as a community therapist, in special schools, for my local authority, as well as providing remote assessments and support.
In 2024, after returning to work following the birth of my son, I embarked on my own assessment journey. I received a diagnosis of AuDHD (autism and ADHD). This dual perspective, not only of professional expertise but also of lived experience enables me to guide, educate, and empower individuals on their path to understanding their unique brains.
Advocacy, inclusion, and accessibility are at the heart of my work and personal values. I’m deeply passionate about promoting these principles for myself and all neurodivergent individuals. My love for all things neurodiversity fuels my career, making it both fulfilling and meaningful.
When I’m not working, I cherish quiet family time with a cup of tea and a cozy blanket or the occasional spa day with the girls!
