National Autism Suicide Prevention Training
We are excited to announce the national launch of our Autism Suicide Prevention Training for professionals supporting children, young people and adults across education and health and social care, developed in collaboration between Autism Oxford UK and Making Families Count.
This ground-breaking training aims to provide vital resources for professionals to support those within the autistic community who are at a higher risk of self-harm and suicide.
This training aligns to requirements of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to refresh local suicide prevention plans in line with national priorities, including the guidance on providing bespoke support to demographic groups and communities of concern, which includes autistic people.
Our comprehensive training is designed to equip professionals with the necessary information, tools and knowledge to provide the best support possible.
