Autism Oxford UK seeking an enthusiastic Psychiatrist to join our friendly, diverse team based in Oxfordshire.

Exciting times are ahead at Autism Oxford UK as the team continues to grow and we look for new ways of working with the neurodiverse community. Our multidisciplinary team is experienced in the assessment and support of neurodevelopmental conditions. We are now looking for a psychiatrist to compliment our team.

The post is available on a sub-contractor basis for 1-2 days a week. Rates are available on request.

Applicants should have Full Registration with the GMC, hold membership with the MRCPsych UK or equivalent postgraduate qualification and hold a valid licence to practise.

Relevant experience in working with neurodiverse young people or adults and training in the assessment tools for Autism and ADHD.

Autism Oxford UK are seeking an enthusiastic Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our friendly diverse team.

Our team are experienced in the assessment and supporting neurodiverse individuals of all ages and their families.

The post is on a subcontractor basis for around 1-2 days per week, however there is scope to negotiate hours for the right person.

Knowledge and experience of working with the neurodiverse community is essential. Supervision and support will also be provided.

The post holder/s will work within our multi-disciplinary team and conduct ADHD medication clinics for children and adults. You will need to provide advice and support to GPs, other relevant professionals, as well as individuals themselves and their support networks. We are always looking fir new ways of working so keen to here for individuals that can offer a flexible approach to their care for example, remote, in person and phone and email consultations as appropriate.

You will need to have a qualification as a Non-Medical Prescriber and ideally, have experience and specialist knowledge of ADHD medications (although further training can be arranged). You will need to be confident in your independent prescribing practice, working alongside our the wider team.

Autism Oxford UK are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Psychologist. We are a blended team and keen to compliment our existing MDT.

This position is offered on a sub-contractor basis of 1-2 days per week but is negotiable for the right person.

You will work within our multi-disciplinary team and conduct children’s ADHD and Autism assessments, along with other members of the team. There will also be some therapeutic work required as well as parental support.

Our clinical psychologists provide clinical leadership within the team and oversee assessments and chair MDTs for other team members assessments to ensure outstanding quality is upheld.

We are keen to hear from individuals who have undergone training in the assessment tools for Autism and/or ADHD and experience of working with neuro diverse young people and/or adults. You should have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or masters equivalent), appropriate HCPC registration and demonstrable practice in this field.
